We went to Chester Zoo with the outlaws and #1 daughter and had a really great day out. I packed a picnic and we sat in the shade of a huge spreading chestnut tree. I love Chester Zoo - loads of people here today but its so big it can cope and the animals are looked after beautifully.

Dinner at #1 daughters. A great evening too and she even made me gluten-free Naan bread to go with her delicious butternut and spinach curry.
