Icing On The Cake

Continuing the icy theme, I looked for patterns in the ice today. Temperatures were above freezing today, which caused some of the ice surface to melt leaving patches of snow.

They weren't the most interesting I've encountered previously, but I did my best with what was there.

Despite being warmer, I saw a few people out on the lake. I would have thought it too early in the season. I hope there's no accidents.

Extra: Bird Bath Beauty. A pair of American tree sparrows pecking at some crackers, which allowed me to get pretty close for a change.
