No Matter What Season

There are always some rhododendrons & camellias flowering in Sheringham Park! The most prolific one was unfortunately roped off as they'd sown spring flowering plants in that particular area, but this one was happy to pose for me.

We stopped at Sheringham for a walk while we were in transit to a different campsite. Blickling was also en route but would probably have been busy with Christmas activities - Sheringham was peaceful, as usual, with winter trees and shrubs providing plenty of interest for people like us.

As yesterday, photography was strictly limited to a few phone shots as the rotator cuff problem is still making its presence felt. The second campsite is adjacent to the start of tomorrow's cross-country run, our main reason for this trip - but I'm not going to be taking part. The thought of slipping in the mud and jolting my shoulder, even if I didn't actually fall, is making it a definite no-no - but as we'd already booked and paid for the site we thought we'd go for a walk along the less-muddy Marriott's Way instead.
