Having a Beak- to- Beak

My clever friend, L, whom we met yesterday, made us a wire Christmas robin. Here he is meeting Louis the Tui, whom  we brought back from New Zealand. (Louis sings when you press a button on his belly.)
Today, was mostly  spent helping at the Winchester GoLD's Christmas party. About  sixty (learning disabled) members attended, with a number  assisting with the lunch prep and decorating the room. We set up the tables and served the meal, and helped clear away afterwards. Then  there was pass the  parcel, a short disco, and finally a video link to Santa. He didn't get thrown any "curved balls" this year, and was very diplomatic over which football team he supports. He seemed delighted to meet our two pairs of  engaged couples from the group.
A good time was had by all, but I can't publish a photo for safeguarding reasons.
