Mountain rescue
Today's walk up to the Tour de Goa was quite hard, 11 kilometres and 650 metres of climbing over rocky ground. I was feeling rather washed out after yesterday's migraine but felt better as the day wore on. It was cold but warmed up so layers during the morning and we were in T-shirts in the full sun for lunch at the signal tower. While eating lunch, the rescue helicopter hovered over the woods on the other side of the valley. It could have been delivering materials or on a training exercise but, given its position, I expect it was collecting a casualty.
