This looks familiar ...

Smithers and I walked up to mid-week Communion this morning, and once again I was delighted to have him sitting beside me. The service was held in a small meeting room because the church is being prepared for the four performances of our Christmas production, one on Monday and three on Tuesday. 

Afterwards we had coffee in the Atrium and chatted to a few folk. Smithers was once again warmly welcomed and we both felt very loved. There was also a sense of déjà vu for us in the Atrium because the church have a similar (but not exactly the same) nativity scene as ours on the reception desk, which is much admired by the visitors.
