Celebration of Africa

It was filled with song, dance, art and demonstrations. Here the 3rd graders are showing how they learned how to balance a bowl on their head with the help of a scarf for support. The extra shows my lead teacher, Kayti holding up two banners of artwork created with natural pigments. There is a closeup of one of the banners and a mask made by one of our 4th graders.
3 kids and one teacher went home today with fevers. I'm not going to the Irish session tonight just to get an early night. One more day!!
