Round Three

Third Christmas dinner in three days, this time at Harvey Nicks in Leeds.
Just had the main course.
So three very different venues, a local pub, a family run restaurant in Ilkley and then today. 
Enjoyed all three.
Best value: J Reserve in Ilkley.
Best meal : The Hermit , Burley Woodhead.
Had gone into Leeds with my ballet friends first to eat dinner then to see Christmas Carol buy Northern Ballet at the Grand Theatre. 
Managed to get a quick shot before the curtain went up.
For the first time in a few seasons it wasn’t the traditional Nutcracker so l was apprehensive if l would enjoy it as much.
No worries, we all loved it.
One sad note was that there was no live orchestra, it’s a contentious issue for Northern Ballet fans. Usual crisis about the arts not being funded enough but we a losing a fine orchestra.

We had a while to wait until it was our train home so we went in the Queen’s Hotel, l had a coffee but some of the others had cocktails.
