Swimming!

A few moments after she discovered she didn't need daddy to hold onto her any longer. "I'm swimming"! she screamed. Of course she needs the 'noodle' to do it, but this is the first time she's felt freedom of movement in the water. We were so happy for her. After another round of swimming lessons where she really didn't learn anything other than she didn't like getting her head under water, which they insist you do. By the end of lessons she was regressing instead of progressing because of that. Here in the motel pool with mom and dad she enjoyed it! She toodled all around the pool. An older gentleman was swimming near her and she bypassed him and told him 'I'm beating you!' She was soooo excited. Daddy of course was just a few feet behind her all the way. You can just make out his arm under the water here.
