Kynance Cove
It was a lovely day, and we drove to the Lizard, somewhere we had never been before. We parked up, and followed the coastal path to Kynance Cove. It was a fairly easy walk, with fabulous views. Our walk then took us inland across moorland, which was all fine until we were faced with cows and calves all hanging around on the track. My worst nightmare!!
Thankfully they weren’t too interested in us, but then we spotted quite a few more dotted round and about. I was glad when we got well past them. We continued on our route, and stopped at a lovely, and seemingly quite isolated church to have our picnic.
Our walk continued to the coast to Cadgwith. We descended to the village and the cove, then had to retrace our steps up the cliff again, before continuing around the coastal path back to the Lizard. I really enjoyed this walk, apart from the cows!!
TT made a chicken curry for tea, and we then collapsed on the sofa and watched some TV. The long walk in the sunshine had worn us out!
This is TT above Kynance Cove. The extras are the church and the ‘Devil’s Frying Pan’!
