I heart toast

I could not believe my eyes when I woke up this morning at Eva stirring, looked at the time, and it was 9.20am!! Omg!!

Mike had just got back from the gym. We have him home with us now for the next 2 weeks as he's off work, yipppeeeeeeeeeeee! Loving it already :-)

Mike sorted all the litter trays out and most of the cats' food, which just left me the kittens to sort (they'd got dry food left anyway), so I could get Eva washed, dressed and fed.

We then came downstairs and it was time for breakfast. Mike made us scrambled egg on toast, so Eva had her 2nd lot of toast soldiers and some scrambled egg. She's too young to be able to pick up the egg yet really, but she loved the toast big time as today's pic shows!!! I still don't think she's swallowed any food but she's giving it all a good squish and suck so she obviously likes the taste, and she's managing to get the food all over her so she's having fun while she's learning.

She then had a sleep from about 11.30 am til 2.15 pm! I could not believe it! It gave me chance to do some phone calls I needed to make re our cat show in September that the Viking Cat Club are putting on.

My dad then came round to see us and have a munch of Eva.

Mike went and fetched us Maccy D's for lunch, so I prepared some banana rolled in oats for Eva's lunch. My friend, Leah, recommended the oats to help her pick it up and keep hold of it, and I'm happy to say it worked!

We went shopping to Mothercare and Boots in the afternoon and got some stuff in age 9-12 months!! It will be too big at the moment, but it won't be long, my little chunk.

Mike gave Eva a shower when we got back as it was gone 6.30, while I saw to the cats and kittens, and she was crying her little eyes out as she was so hungry and shattered I thought, I'm not gonna bother with food for her tonight, she can just have some milk and cuddles.

I had a Viking Skype meeting at 7.30, so once I'd fed Eva, Mike went and settled her to sleep as she had got quite a bit of wind.

I also think she has a 2nd tooth coming through next to the 1st one on her bottom gum in the middle, poor baby :-( xxx
