Under the tree

Not under the tree exactly.  I only have a one-foot live tree which Albuquerque brother gave to me when he visited at Thanksgiving.  It actually sits on the table.  This gift is from Reno brother and is very light.  I can't imagine what could be inside but won't open it until Christmas morning.  I like the sparkly wrapping paper.  I feel guilty because I didn't send my brothers (or SILs) anything for Christmas but this year is tight.  I will try to make it up to them next year.

Christmas movie: I watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation last night. I'm not a big Chevy Chase fan but it was entertaining.

In other news:  I had the Mono Monday host for January just cancel on me so I will end up being your host. Sometimes, being a challenge coordinator can be, well, challenging.  I know H0tamer is still looking for Tiny Tuesday hosts for 2025.  If you can help him out, drop by his journal.

This Christmas, I told my girlfriend for months in advance,  all I want from you this year is an Xbox. That's it. Beginning and end of list: Xbox. You know what she got me? A homemade frame with a picture of us from our first date together. Which was fine -- because I got her an Xbox.
