Christmas Eve

OH played golf and I fiddled and prepped at home.  No.2 never clear on his plans but I made some soup just in case they wanted to eat when they arrived?  He wanted to clean his car (difficult in a flat with no hose pipe) so changed into old clothes and spent an hour washing and hoovering.  Soup was on the table by 2.45 and we had a quick late lunch before heading off to the Christingle.  We always used to go when the children were younger but haven't been for years.  No.2 wanted to show H the tradition as she is from America and hadn't come across it before?  He wanted to make sure they weren't left out so made his own Christingles to take with them?!  Guess which is his ............ lots of sweeties!

Round to S for Christmas Eve drinks and it was ok - although less numbers than usual.  Got chatting to the son of a friend who is a greenkeeper at LC.  

No.2 went home and we watched a film that wasn't really a Christmas Eve film but I slept through anyway?

Day done and we managed ok.
