Christmas Portrait

For various reasons, photography tends to get forgotten on Christmas Day but I'm making up for it with this portrait of Basil in his nest during the evening having watched Vengeance Most Fowl. 

We had a delicious lunch with our neighbours Alasdair and Chris, salmon not turkey. They were very taken with my gluten free cannoli as an after dinner treat.

Baz looks very alert. The vet had commended him on his lovely shiny coat earlier in the week, and his eyes are bright.
