Boxing Day clever

Despite beavering away in the garage for three hours this morning and afternoon putting a new fuel pump in the Africa Twin I didn't take any photos of the operation.  With my hands sporting occasional dribbles of petrol and much general grime off the chassis, and the air occasionally thick with frustrations, I didn't think to pick up my phone.  With bits of inner tube and a cable tie I effected a semi-official installation in order to test things tomorrow; it didn't seem the done thing to go cranking the machine on Boxing Day!  If it works (that is, stays put) I may just leave it and not go cutting off the brackets from the pump in order to shoehorn it into the original rubber mount.  Otherwise, there are a few more hours in my future.

I've been pretty lazy for the rest of the day, so today's blip is just some of the spoils from yesterday's dinner.  There is at least as much left over for tomorrow too.
