Boxing Day pub

Our village pub has re opened, about a year ago now and we all remind ourselves to use it or lose it. So having missed the Christmas Eve Slade Lane drinks down there we took ourselves down this morning for a drink before lunch.  

Lunch was ham baked potatoes and coleslaw.  The downside of not doing the turkey is we don’t get the key ingredient.  


Finished making my bonbons and Rory covered a box for me to take them to HB in.   She sent me a note reminding me to check eBay for the butcher’s block of hers I am selling only to realise I’d missed an offer.  Epic fail. I’ve got too used to Vinted. 

Watched The Critic, first on Bafta view and then when that kept failing on Amazon Prime.  It started well and McKellan was terrific but it ended up too small and sketchy.
