Getting ahead of itself...?
In the wild garlic patch in our garden, next to the compost bins, there are vigorous signs of growth. I think of wild garlic as a springtime plant; okay, this patch is in a sheltered spot, but this still seems very, very early. We'll see what happens when the temperatures drop, as I'm sure they will sooner or later. The oddly mild autumn and early winter weather has also seen Josh continuing to harvest a wide range of produce from his field: outdoor salad leaves, as well as his root vegetables, right up to now.
