Ella leaping

We were on the bus at 7.20 for the 3 hour drive to Sofia. We had a long wait to check in as the belt for the bags had broken. But it meant we had less time to wait in departures. The flight was fine though we had to land on auto-pilot as the fog was so thick and low. It was a surreal experience sitting in the cloud and suddenly being on the runway. We were lucky to get away as some flights to other airports were cancelled. The bags took a while to come so we left for the walk to the car park before the others got theirs - we have an hour longer to drive home.

Now we are driving up the A1. We’ll stop
at Team Valley for fuel and a basic food shop.

Meanwhile #3 daughter and family are nearing the end of their SA holiday. They are staying on a small game reserve which was the cheapest she could find and it’s wonderful. They have seen lion, cheetah, elepant, rhino, hippo, eland and ostrich.
