PJs & Dry robes

This morning I went out for my walk wearing my new blue collar & lead. OMG?! I felt totally over-dressed. Loads of holiday makers had arrived in town yesterday and they were all out this morning having a mooch around town in their 'PJs and dry robes. Seriously????..............

…..............We are not part of the, 'Dry robe Wankers FB page' here. In our very lovely seaside town, humans wear their dry robes for the purpose they were intended. Which is swimming in the sea and then putting on their dry robes to get dry afterwards. …........And nobody in St Ives would even dream about doing the morning dog walk wearing tartan pyjamas underneath their dry robe?

OK, we know everyone gets PJs for Christmas, but PJs are NOT beach wear. ...................It was like the holiday makers had introduced a whole new fashion code into the town overnight................

Anyway, once I got to the beach I got let off my lead. And guess what I found?............... A brand new squeaky bone. I knew it was brand new because it still had it's label on it. Ann looked around to see if there was a little doggie that had lost it, but there didn't seem to be anyone else around so I got to keep it. Finders keepers and all that.

After a very quiet Christmas, the town has turned a bit busy with people arriving for the New Year Celebrations. It would seem that St Ives is still one of the most popular places in the UK to celebrate NY. Who can believe our small seaside town is up there with London & Edinburgh? There's about 10,000 permanent residents here, but on NYs Eve about 40,000 people will descend on our lovely little town.

….................Hopefully they won't all be wearing tartan PJs and dry robes??? Lol, lol, lol!!!
