Tesla was giving away free charging for a day to non Tesla cars using their App for the first time.

So along I went. Place was packed, not with non-Teslas but Dutch return romantic skiing holiday.

Had to wait 10 minutes,  had to get a charger that didn't end up blocking two spaces as BMW plugs are on the wrong side for the uniquely short, Tesla-optimised chargers.

But worked in the end, 60kWh free and went from 11% to 99% SOC
