The Lightning Seeds
Quite a few tired people were on the calls today, but everybody seemed to have enjoyed themselves last night.
I was out again this evening. Once again, I was off to a gig with Mark L. Two concerts in a week seemed reasonable when we’d arranged these nights earlier in the year. I’ve been out for four nights this week, and part of me would have preferred not to meet him at Waterloo. I bought a baguette for dinner before we took the train to Camden Town. From there, we walked to the Kentish Town Forum (the nearest station was closed), where we saw The Lightning Seeds supported by Wreckless Eric.
Twenty songs: a great set. Three Lions might have gotten the biggest cheer; it definitely got the biggest singalong. The encore, The Life of Riley, was partly played by Riley (now a guitar-playing adult).
