In the evening, we headed out to Stoke Newington and, for once, arrived at Lisa’s house on time for the annual Stokey Christmas. Lots of Prosecco and catching up with people and, as always, a delicious Christmas dinner buffet. Everything was lovely.

Of course, the highlight is the party games.  Our ‘pong’ game didn’t quite win me Christmas socks his heart, but we played oven-glove pass-the-parcel and I did end up being the one to win when I managed to pull the last layer off. As much laughter as the first time I played it. Nice to see everybody again.
