Sinking Sun

I met up for lunch at a pub with four friends, a good thing we had booked it was a lot busier than I had expected. We’ve known each other a long time, it was good to catch up.

After stopping at Knutsford to do some food shopping (a Booths supermarket is always worth a stop) I headed home. The sun was sinking in the sky so I found a place to park safely by the side of the road and took a photograph. After so much murky weather it was fantastic to see a vividly coloured sky as the sun went down. Maybe I’ll return to mono on a Monday next week.
