Beauly Firth

Today's the day .......................... to head north

We've been invited to a very special 60th birthday party on Wednesday - near Nigg Bay, on the north side of the Cromarty Firth. That's a fair way from Kendal, so we headed northwards today to make sure we would be there in good time.

This is the view from where we are tonight. If you look closely, you can just make out the Kessock Bridge which carries the A9 across the Beauly Firth from Inverness on to the Black Isle .......................
