Moments

I've definitely been out of circulation for three days! How can a cold, a hacking cough and constant sneezing take so much out of you? I spent two days in PJs, sipping honey and lemon and clutching a hotwater bottle!

I phoned my son and his wife at 6 am on January 1st, because it was just midnight in Toronto and I watched the Firework display from his balcony with them!

After several days of fog here, the sun shone brightly on the first day of the year (see the blue sky on the upper left) and the same view from my balcony at a pretty pink sunset.  The yellow centre is a white hellebore on my balcony. The tiny square of curtains is the sunshine coming into my bedroom.

My constant, undemanding presence was little Honey, not far away from wherever I happened to be!

I definitely feeling more myself this morning and will take a shower and dress properly! It's still a holiday here, with everything closed.

I'm not going to say yet another happy new year, but I do wish you all a healthy and content one! The words we say have to really mean something, don't they!
