Light entertainment

Low sunshine

Clear and sunny and frosty all day.

We went out with the West wind behind us via London Road gardens to Holyrood Park. Ground frost on the paths and the grass meant the muddy places were much more solid than they might have been.

The remains of St Anthony's Chapel was catching the light. In extra.
Canmore 15th Century.  There are people at the base of it for scale.  Silhouette shows up again in the view over St Margaret's Loch.  Lots of black headed gulls on the loch, 60 or so, and maybe 10 tufted ducks along with mallards. No sign of swans.

Back by no 44 bus, dodging the crowds on Princes Street by getting off at Waterloo Place.
