Female blackbird

It's well fluffed up to try to keep out the cold.  We have several inches of snow, and it was -5 C for a couple of days. There are more snowy birds in the extra. The house was freezing this morning because the condensate pipe for the boiler was frozen, so the heating was off. Once a kettle-full of hot water was poured on the pipe, normal service was resumed. The temperature is nearly up to 0 C outside, so maybe we'll get a bit of a thaw tomorrow.
