A hippo at Wisley!

This morning I met a friend at Wisley RHS gardens. It was not as cold as I expected . I thought it would be frosty there but was not at all so no nice outdoor photos! I’m always amused by their hippo in the glasshouse. They were still taking down all the lights form the Glow event which closed on Sunday.
We had a nice walk round and I discovered there are allotments there..some worked by students and others that members of the public can apply for! 
I managed to avoid buying any plants this time and was so surprised that the drive to and from was so quick. Probably because most people were staying at home today.

We collected grandson after school.
He did music practice, reading and then some knitting. He wanted to learn to knit and is doing quite well after only three sessions.
