Coming home on a cold afternoon
This is my route home from the bus stop. As anyone who’s been to Bristol knows, it’s very hilly. So you get some nice views. The trees are in a playground - affectionately known as ‘dog poo park’ by my son and his friends 20 years ago - sadly that still applies. So this was the cold but sunny view across - my house is two streets further than the row of houses you can just about see.
I’ve just come back from the Bristol Royal Infirmary where I had an ultrasound scan of my liver, kidneys and pancreas. Took ages. I feel really grateful that the NHS is finding the time and resources to check things out thoroughly. I’ve had two quite big tests this week and I appreciate it.
