..endeavour to persevere

Waxing Gibbous (88%)

Another day on house renovations and a chilly one (it was -7C at 9am as we headed up to Brampton).
More filling/painting/plumbing fun.
Back home this evening , another clear night, I could see the moon with Jupiter and Mars to the East and Venus with Saturn to the south.
So to another Moon blip, this time with the two massive craters in view.  Tycho to the south and Copernicus middle left.
The craters are impacts from asteroids. meteorites etc.  When the crater is formed on impact it stays that way as the moon has no atmosphere/weather/erosion/plate movement to erase the crater. Unlike earth which has all of those processes.
Footprints from the lunar landings can still be seen , although my eyes are not so good these days so not from my front door tonight :-)
