A crack in the clouds*

We worked from home, today, the Minx intensely prepping for some workshops she's delivering tomorrow, and me mostly messing about with spreadsheets and admin.

It was incredibly misty all day, although the sun made a valiant effort to break through this morning, as you can see from my Blip.

After work, we drove down to Salford, and then cautiously walked to The Everyman. The very cold weather makes you acutely aware of the bewildering variety of pavement materials on Chapel Street, some of which were fine to walk on and others were like ice rinks. Still we made it there without falling over (but promised ourselves an Uber back home!).

We went to see 'The Big Lebowski', which is one of my all time favourite films. It's been long enough since I last watched it that it seemed fresh, and at one point I was literally crying with laughter. If you've never seen it, I'd heartily recommend it.
