A promise

I feel as though I am marking time while making preparations for the big trip. I hope it will feel easier once I start to pack the suitcase!

I took various things to Anna, who then went to see Margret in the Nursing Home.

The amaryllis bulbs are doing very well (bar about 3 where the leaves have come first) and I should see most of them burst forth before Tuesday. Joan can enjoy them after that.

One orchid is in bloom and the rest are all ready for the flowers to open. They will still look good when I return home.

I'd like a lipstick the same colour as this flower!
