Frost painted

Another frosty morning but with a leaden sky instead of sunshine.  The blip is of lemon balm seed heads frost enhanced.

Mid-morning after breakfast decanted the softened orange shreds and juice from the slow cooker into my copper preserving pan.  By noon 10 jars of marmalade were cooling on the counter. 

Took hound for a walk an hour after his lunch.  Much of the frost had thawed on our walk and the temperature felt warmer. 

Back home made apple purée cake. 

Now enjoying a quiet sit down reminiscing with Whispering Bob on Radio 2 playing music from 1975.
