Kinetic sculpture in the snow
Friday
A quiet day at home, doing my usual activities. The morning was spent at home, partly occupied with a chat with Roger’s Dad. He’s been concerning us all a lot lately, as at age 96 he has had three falls in about as many weeks, all within the house, and fortunately never doing more than bruising or maybe grazing himself, and shaking himself up. However, the main thing is that once he’s fallen, he can’t get himself up. He has an emergency button, but half the time he forgets to wear it, or even if he is, doesn’t necessarily think to use it! Roger’s sister lives just down the road, but can’t be there every minute of the day. So the latest step has been to install a couple of cameras in the house, so Janet can keep an eye on him that way. Anyway today he seemed in pretty good form, and hasn’t fallen for about ten days or so now!
Snow was forecast to begin again in the afternoon, which it did, but again very fine, and taking a long time to accumulate. My only photo today was a shot of our kinetic sculpture in the back garden.
