Round
It’s been a grey, cold - and today wet- couple of days, but I’ve enjoyed my brief time at the caravan. Mid afternoon today though I returned home - timing it so that I could get to my dentist for a check up at the allotted time.
Before returning I bought a few provisions from Booths, and before getting there I took a short diversion to visit Heron Corn Mill by the River Bela. My photography homework this week is to photo some big splashes, and I thought the weir near the mill might provide opportunities. Whilst there I passed these millstones - the two on the right are made of French Burr I think, the one on the left I assume is Derbyshire Gritstone. Mono because it’s mono Monday, but I prefer them in colour as the various shadings are subtle and interesting - so that is temporarily an extra.
