Misty Day

It was misty for most of the day today, and very hot.
I took the dogs for a walk on the common this morning which resulted in a broken watch strap - sounds strange doesn't it!  I saw the local dog walker coming towards us with two dogs, one being a large Rottweiler. I moved a good distance away but when he passed us, my over friendly dogs rushed towards him, said hello to his dogs and then walked away!! Fortunately the Rottweiler seemed friendly. I think they thought they were at the Bark Park where the dogs rush to meet and greet any new arrivals! Not a good thing! I tried hanging onto Coda but she is exceptionally strong and broke away from me . When Pumpkin also ran towards the dogs her lead got caught in my watch and the strap broke!! I only noticed that my watch was missing some time later when already at home. Fortunately, when I returned to the place where it happened, my watch was lying on the grass. 
Hubby and I went to a favourite beachfront restaurant for lunch today - we haven't been to this place for a long time so it was good to dine in style and eat delicious food.
I have been sorting linen out today and the charity shop will be getting many tablecloths from the days when we entertained large numbers of people!  They have been lying in the cupboard unused for so many years now.
Early golf tomorrow, hopefully the weather will be good.
