From BAG To BUG

We had a village meeting tonight for the Bus Action Group to transform it into a Bus User Group. Does that make us Bug**** we wondered?

We have been campaigning for 2 years to get a bus service back through the village. It will be a service that loops from Penrith to a neighbouring village and back. We can either use the journey to travel 3 miles westwards and then get on a bus to Keswick OR, keep on the bus as it makes its way back to Penrith.

It's a use-it-or-lose-it situation so we'll have to see how it goes.

The worst bit of the evening was seeing myself close-up on that big screen, as they replayed the Border Television interviews from earlier this month.
