Thursday: Meet Me On The Corner

A bit of a hastily grabbed shot, following on from an excellent breakfast at ‘Meet Me On The Corner’ in Whitley Bay.  We felt it was what was needed to fortify us for the drive back to London.  Prior to that, we went for a walk with Cousin J who is also on his way back home today.

The drive was fine.  We passed the time catching up with some old Desert Island Discs.  I was pleased to be able to listen to the episode with Guli Francis-Dehqani as (shameless namedrop alert) we went to school together.  She was in the year above me but we were in the same dormitory.  She came across really well which didn’t surprise me as she was very nice at school too.
