Storm Eowyn

Storm Eowyn has given us a good excuse to stay home and potter. We ventured out this morning as Bramble needed a walk and at times found it hard to make headway against the force of the wind.it’s pretty well blown itself out round here , not a lot of damage to be seen in our neighbourhood but plenty of litter. I shall wait until tomorrow before I do a pick up though .

I finished the hat I was knitting , I quite like it but it’s far too big . In the photo I’ve put the last hat I knitted ( which fits nicely) and the new, huge hat ! What a difference in size !

I’ve been wanting to have a go at torn paper collage and saved the Christmas wrapping paper especially.I’ve spent the afternoon making a background, not sure for what but possibly a tree . We have a few free days ahead and I want to see if I can ignore the ever present domestic duties in favour of doing something more creative . There are lots of possibilities but it’s a challenge to leave the other stuff.

Wishing you all a cheerful and cosy weekend unless you live in warmer parts in which case my wish is for a cheerful and pleasantly cool weekend .
