Cumul-oh-my-goodness!

A quiet, uneventful day today - up at just before 10am, lounged around in pj's until around 1.45, then made myself decent and tootled off to do the monthly shopping. There were a few dark clouds, but we avoided any rain.

Had myself a little lie down with a book when I got back, and then I heard this odd rumbling sound - and THIS was what I saw from the back door (and this!). Dark, dark clouds, loud rumbling and fork lightning across the sky - how cool. I loved it, and it didn't seem to faze Charlie at all. Some of the neighbourhood dogs were going mental though...

Mother nature at her most beautiful. And terrible.
