Saigon flower market

One of the first things I noticed after crossing the border from Cambodia into Vietnam was how many colourful flowers there are. The huge flower market in the city centre is absolutely stunning. Many people appeared to be preparing floral decorations for the forthcoming lunar new year celebrations in a few days time.
I was impressed by the huge pots of yellow chrysanthemums which were around 5 or 6 feet tall. Marigolds and orchids are also very popular here.
