The Party

As you can imagine, it was a noisy affair. Julia's friend, a DJ who travels between UK and Thailand doing his disco thing anywhere in between, gave Julia a huge speaker with all sorts of wires to connect to it. She made good use of that, until we told her to turn it down a bit, but it was still very loud. Loud enough for me to take my hearing aids out anyway HAHAHAHAHAHA
But what a load of fun it was. Julia did her own party leader thing conducting games like tug-of-war, Limbo dancing (with the pole held by me and one of the fathers), pass the parcel, musical statues and more.
The food was really good, home made sandwiches, Marlane making them fresh hot dogs, sausage rolls, some bought cheese & onion rolls, cakes and biscuits and bowls of snack stuff like crisps. Amazingly the children loved the fruit, cucumber, sweet pepper slices, watermelon.
They all had a great time, and now our living room is piled with presents as there was about 40 children attending, and all the adults stayed too!~
When the girls went to bed I said 'Goodnight and goodbye 5 year olds, I'll see you in the morning when you are 6 year olds'. Made them giggle :-))
