Week 3 Lesson completed

Here are the 2 journal pages for the Wanderlust course I'm taking. I used the watercolor postcard and practice pieces I made earlier in the week in creating the pages. I started with free writing in pencil as suggested, reflecting on the theme of rest and renewal. This is something I don't usually do, especially with the intention of covering most of it up! But it was a good idea and helpful for setting the theme.

Next I chose from paper scraps I had set aside earlier and wrote a few words on the practice watercolor pieces. Then I auditioned the placement of the papers, added a bit of watercolor to the pages. Lastly, I taped my postcard in place. 

 It was very enjoyable to concentrate on filling the pages and I'm happy with what I created. The process of making the pages was the best part of all!
