August Blooms
By the beginning of August, the garden has reached an overgrown, untidy stage, with the first roses over, hardy geraniums needing a haircut, and the showy shasta daisies wilting in the heat.
However, the hydrangeas now come into their own!
And perhaps in a week's time the rest of the garden will look a bit tidier too!
(well, I'm hoping - and some cooler weather would help!).
