Turret Clock

Day two of our little road trip and we've reached Surrey. We went to Polesden Lacey to meet some old friends from our student days. We had intended to walk around the gardens but it was lashing with rain so we had a tour of the interior instead. My only photograph today was of the turret clock. The restoration of the clock featured in a recent 'Treasures of the National Trust' programme on television so it was nice to see it. Then it was on to our son's place to fit some new curtain rails. Now we are ensconced in a tiny cottage in East Sussex.
