An Artist in her Studio

One of my hosts for this weekend, Betsey, is an artist and fellow blipper.  She has a lovely studio in a loft where she retreats with her house panther Raven (Fianna, the other resident House panther sometimes joins her too) to paint landscapes and portraits, many of her ancestors.  Her home is filled with family heirlooms one of which caught my eye.  This is her great  grandfather’s sketch book (artistic talent runs in the family) and his drawing of a nanny goat dated 1885.  I could spend hours looking at every detail but, alas, my short visit was over.  Home now in Maine and was greeted my lovely warmish weather.  Melt snow, melt!
