I started the day with a surprise (to me) trip to the gym, opting for the treadmill over a walk despite the mild weather. I noticed that all the cardio equipment had been replaced, which means I’ll need to get familiar with the new machines. Work is picking up speed again, and I’m excited to see several projects from last year finally moving into production. Lunchtime brought a short but quirky shopping trip, where I picked up bread and preserved lemons for a recipe, though I’m unsure if I could taste the lemons in the dish.

In the evening, I travelled to central London to meet friends for the pantomime. My journey was delayed due to a signal failure on the tube, but I still made it in time for the show. I am not sure PY was too happy about my tardiness. The pantomime was, as always, a delight, with Julian Clary and Jane McDonald leading a star-studded cast with even more extravagant costumes, celebrity cameos, and a thin plot (that nobody is worried about).
