Paul's Adventure

We took the cable car up this morning, walked north for about half an hour together and then parted. I completed the same route from two days ago but managed to complete it in three hours...got a bit of a stomp on! Paul climbed this entire ridge and more...there wasn't a path, he just wanted to walk it. Yes, he is mental! I got down to Livigno at about 2pm, cleaned up and went a treated myself to a Mont Blanc pen. I was due to meet Paul at a road junction at 5pm, hoping that he would have made it safely but there was a knock on our room door at 4.25pm and it was him!! He had completed most of the route except the very last part where the ridge disintegrated under his feet...severe risk of plummeting rather a long way down the mountain side...I'm glad he saw sense and turned back and came down another way! Anyway, a six and a half hour trek at his super speedy pace, he is a happy bunny!

Tonight is our last night here so we are off for a few drinks and some nice food. Tomorrow, Milano!
