Meeting the neighbours

We had a very successful day yesterday, the removal truck arrived at about 2pm and spent 5 hours unloading the furniture and boxes. Lorraine and I started organising the kitchen, while Alan assembled our bedroom furniture, and then about 8pm we had a break & picked up an Indian takeaway, which was really good!

After a short break we carried on and finally went to bed about 11.30pm. The guest bedroom was full of boxes so Lorraine slept on an inflatable bed in the living room, but she said she slept well.

Today has been more of the same, and we hung the curtains and organised the garden furniture. It's lovely and sunny, so we had lunch in the garden before Lorraine set off for home. She's been a big help!

Anyway, we appear to have a resident cat, and here he/she is curled up under one of the palm trees. I don't know who's cat it is, but its very friendly and obviously spends a lot of time in our garden - not for much longer though, as Louis arrives next week!

Anyway, back to the boxes! Hope you're having a great weekend.
