Sunday: Omphalodes verna …
… also known as “Blue-eyed Mary” which is a little bit the worse for wear, maybe I’ll take a better photo when the later flowers open and hope don’t get nibbled.
It was chilly again all day, temperature around 6°C, very fine rain was around for most of the day.
I put sunflower hearts out in the feeders and chopped up a couple of my dwindling stock of Bramley cooking apples which the blackbirds enjoy.
Communicated with all our children during the day and hope that they and their loved ones are all ok - think it’s been a bit of a trying and tiring day for all of us xxxx xxx xx
We watched “Darling Buds of May” this evening on ITV, such a nice change - this was one of our favourites 30 years ago :-)
